There is something about summer that leads to visions of flip-flops and margaritas. Okay, perhaps that fantasy is mine, but it sure gets me through those long, Michigan winters! Hands down, Havianas reign as the BEST flip-flop of all time. Made in Brazil, these little pieces of heaven feature an extremely comfortable rubber sole and strap and are available in many colors and options such as solids, metallic and prints. Supermodel, Gisele, recently launched a brand of flip-flops called Ipanema. Her product reminds me of Havianas and seems to incorporate all of their great characteristics. Ipanema flips boast trendy designs, such as a wrap-around ankle gladiator style flip, and different wedge options.
