It may be a little early for mistletoe and carols, but it is never too early to start thinking about Christmas outfits. With so many parties and events to attend, a girl needs to prepare in advance for such style situations. Here is a little preview into Holiday ’09. While glitz and glamour are always highlighted around the Holidays, this year, designers are taking it to a whole other level. If you thought that Rockefeller tree was bright, you have yet to see the dazzle being shown in Holiday fashion. Everything from dresses to tops to itty-bitty minis, to legging and purses, shoes and hair jewelry. Everything is embellished, bejeweled and bling-ing. I personally love it. An Elizabeth Taylor themed Christmas! Perfect. While the pieces are ornate, the vibe is still casual cool. Our beloved eighties, funk mixed with glam trend is continuing into the New Year. Bedazzled tanks are paired with worn-in jeans and leather booties. Dresses are super-short and sequined from top to bottom. Thank goodness, this look is paired with opaque tights. Unfortunately, space heaters do not come small enough to fit into the gorgeous clutch purses that you will be toting to all of your events. Embellished with jewels and hardware, of course.
