No one ever said that fashion was easy. It is trends like as denim leggings that reiterate the cold, hard truth. Great style involves great risk. But the rewards, oh!, the rewards! Upon closer inspection of the “denim legging” trend, I personally realized that there was nothing to fear when it came to the style. Before I wiggled into my own pair, I had many worries. I stressed that my thighs would tear apart the seams before I even had a chance to look in the mirror, or that my behind would be so large and defined in this style that on-lookers would wince at the sight of me. (Poor Girl)! But, once I finally got the leggings over my curves and buttoned them up – I was surprised at how slimming and lifting and all-around flattering the style was. Of course, I bought a pair in black (because a girl can’t feature enough optical illusions in her wardrobe), but any dark wash would have the same effect. Because I am curvier on the bottom, I plan to wear my denim leggings with longer pieces on the top; flowy blouses that cinch at the waist with a belt, boyfriend style cardigans and chunky knits. Of course, I will pair them with boots – these jeans are the PERFECT answer to the age old question “How do I get my jeans into my boot”? A lot of celebs are pairing their denim leggings with menswear blazers, open over boyfriend t-shirts. I like this style; it is slightly off-beat, yet has an on-the-mark cool vibe!

Also, the new ankle boot for fall is a great shoe for denim leggings. The look is funky and fun. It also offers a great in between for the boot to flat issue. Jb and me offers a few different styles in the denim legging. My favorite is the Twiggy style by James Jeans in Black Cat. Try them on, ladies! Take a risk! You won’t be disappointed!
