Friends!
We are so thankful for you. If the circumstances would allow, we would gather each & every one of you into a giant group hug!
We will keep things short, so you can hold onto this simple truth during these uncertain times.
We believe prayer changes things.
God knows the cry of OUR hearts.
Our Father cherishes our contact with Him.
The silent thoughts, the whispered wishes; he cherishes all of them. He, the Wonderful Counselor, is mighty enough to recieve your “ugly cries” & confusion. There is no need to be anything but yourself when you are speaking with the God who created you.
He, the Prince of Peace, is mighty enough to hold you through all of your emotions & circumstances. Now is not the time for us to strive out of our own strength, but to depend on the sovereign one to carry us through!
Our own strength comes in the form of the desire to control, or hoard our resources, while not allowing ourselves time to rest.
His strength is a resource that never runs dry. In the busy and in the stillness, he is listening & speaking. Run to him in your weariness. Ask him for the strength to run to him.
And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words. {Romans 8: 26 TPT}
As we all continue to pray specifically, let us also thank Him in advance for His power, & His promise to work ALL things, yes ALL things (even the bad), for the good of those who love him.
There is power, far greater than we could realize in the words of scripture. When we speak truth out loud, it has the power to change the atmosphere. The atmospheres of your car, room, home, neighborhood, city, nation, world can be changed by the sound of your voice!
Dear friends, receive comfort from the God who created comfort. Walk, speak, and clothe yourself in love, kindness, and peace.
LOOK OUT for those who were already suffering, even before this outbreak hit. Act in empathy, as we are all navigating this together!
Perhaps, by the grace of God, we can shift our perspectives from never-ending busyness, back to the people & passions the Lord has given us!
During these times, when it is our responsibility to keep each other safe, we can’t meet face-to-face, but remain ever-grateful for the gift of technology to keep us all connected!
As life seems to function a bit unusually, our spring arrivals are still scheduled to arrive as cute as ever, & want to be part of your personal wardrobe!
You may not be able to visit our locations every day of the week, but you can always visit us online on the reg! Follow us on Insta: @jbandme36 and keep hitting that refresh button as our new arrivals continue to become available on https://jbandme.com
We love you all! Thank you for continuing to shop local from the comfort of your homes! PRAYER CHANGES THINGS.
